Listen to the colors of wind.
The melodious flute song
the meadowlark sings,
the red breasted nuthatch’s
chirped repetitions,
and the mountain bird
of blue all welcome you.
North American currents
carry the sweetness
of magnolia flower,
the yellow headed blackbirds scold,
golden melody of orioles.
No matter the gray of day,
deepness of sadness
or darkness of night--
the stars, full spectrums
of color, breathe white.
