YAF Report on FWCC Section Meeting

18 Young Adult Friends (YAFs) from 7 countries across North and Latin America gathered in Scottsdale, AZ prior to the FWCC Section of the Americas Annual Meeting. Those in attendance enjoyed a day at the Desert Botanical Garden, offered our service to Phoenix Monthly Meeting, and found fellowship among one another. This was the first event of its kind, and it hopes to usher in more opportunities for YAFs to gather together.

They created the following community agreement on their first day together which guided their interactions:

1. To learn and respect the differences between our cultures and worship
2. Speak on behalf of yourself -- use "I" statements
3. Seek unity in our diversity
4. We're learning from God through each other
5. Every experience is unique and valued
6. Enjoy being in each other's presence
7. In building trust with one another, we learn how to share our light
