World Gatherings of Young Friends

Dear Friends,

Only a month has passed since the World Plenary Meeting (WPM) of Friends World Committee for Consultation (FWCC). We invite Friends to spread the messages shared at the WPM.

With the outcomes of the WPM in mind, FWCC has set the strategic direction for our future, which involves six priorities.

One of these priorities recognizes the importance of engaging and connecting Young Adult Friends (YAFs) around the world. 46 YAFs gathered for four days of shared experience before the World Plenary began on August 5, resulting in their own YAF epistle and the formation of a World Executive Committee of Young Adult Friends. Another international gathering of YAFs met in in Jordans, Buckinghamshire, England (21-25 August) and also shared an epistle with Friends everywhere.
