From 1963 to 2016, John Woolman School offered Quaker education with a West Coast flavor.  First as a four-year high school, later as a one-semester immersion program, it provided hundreds of youth with the experience of community, wilderness, creativity, and Quaker worship.  Many of Woolman's alumni have lead lives of extraordinary inventiveness and service.  A chronicle of that unique enterprise is now being compiled.  The first phase is to ensure we have enough funds to complete the project.  A campaign has been launched on Kickstarter to raise $24,000.  We have raised $17,200, and we have until April 1 to meet the goal.
