I recommend this video report by Canadian travel blogger Dan Vineberg about his trip to Kharkiv on the YouTube channel The New Travel. He shows that people lose a lot, change their views, begin to meditate, and some stop believing in pacifism. War is to blame, but hatred does not always give rise to aggression in return. In the case of Kharkiv, you can see examples of honor, kindness, courage, and hope.
