This online discussion will consider a Pendle Hill pamphlet by Marcelle Martin, "Invitation to a Deeper Communion." The pamphlet describes the origins of "extended meeting for worship" within Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, following the experience of early Friends, who often met in meetings for worship lasting for hours.  All are welcome!  Marcelle Martin will join discussion leader Janaki Spickard Keeler of the Pendle Hill staff, along with others from near and far who continue to find "Extended Worship" to be an important part of their spiritual lives. The pamphlet discussion will be preceded by an optional hybrid "extended worship,” hosted by Chestnut Hill Friends Meeting.
