The application deadline for QVS Fellow has been extended to March 31, 2022
Quaker Voluntary Service (QVS ) is for young adults (age 21-30) interested in building intentional community, working full time at social service and social change agencies, and exploring themes of spiritual and personal growth with local Quakers.Fellows must be available to participate in the program year, which runs from late August 2022 through the end of July 2023.
QVS Fellows should be ready to ask challenging questions of themselves and each other about how to live simply, with integrity and justice, while doing meaningful and mutually empowering service.
Fellows are placed in one of five program cities: Atlanta, Boston, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Philadelphia, or Portland, OR.
Our new priority deadline is March 31, 2022. After March 31, we will accept applications on a rolling basis.
What support do QVS Fellows receive?
- Free housing in a fully furnished shared home, plus utilities and internet
- Shared grocery and food stipend
- Public transportation pass
- Health insurance and mental healthcare (if needed)
- Personal stipend of $125/mo
- Student loan counseling & support (QVS covers any loan interest accrued during your service year)
