Hi all,
As many of you are aware, in 2019 a group of us here in Portland organized a virtual bridge to COP25, which consisted of a couple of local gatherings having direct communication with people attending the UN climate summit in Madrid. The goal was to connect local folks with this critical international process. This year the need for decisive action is even more critical, making it imperative to increase grassroots understanding of and involvement in the conference. That said, Covid has made what we did in 2019 risky. As an alternative to local public gatherings, I just released a portal to online opportunities for engagement. This portal contains a number of resources for virtually connecting with events taking place before and during the conference.
What you see there now is just a beginning. As more opportunities become available, these will be added. If you run across events that you think would be good to add, please let me know. Also, please feel free to pass along this announcement to others you think would be interested.
