Swarthmore and Haverford to support digitization of historical boarding school documents this fall.

Hi Friends,

I wanted to announce that the Native American Boarding School Healing Coalition (known as NABS) was awarded $124,000 by the National Historic Publications and Records Commission to digitize 20,000 images from Friends Historical Library at Swarthmore College and Haverford College's Quaker & Special Collections this fall for the database they will be launching.

The Quaker Special Collections program at Haverford is honored to support NABS in this important work, which they have been undertaking for many years. (I won't speak for the Friends Historical Library at Swarthmore, but I am sure they feel the same!)
