New Poetry Collection from a Sierra Cascades Friend

Dear Friends,

I'm reaching out on behalf of Fernwood Press, an imprint of Barclay Press in Newberg, OR, about a new poetry collection by Quaker poet Nancy Thomas, The Language of Light, which we have just released. The book is a focused, playful collection of prose poems grounded in wordplay, multi-generational conversation, and the poet interrogating her own questions surrounding faith, family, aging, and current events. Thomas' poetic voice refuses to relent in its optimism, even when touching on difficult subject matter.
