Published: Jan. 15, 2021

Dear Friends: I thought you would be interested in this free, four-day, virtual Film Festival and webinar called "Where Do We Go From Here?" sponsored by the Martin Luther King Jr. Research and Education Institute at Stanford University.

January 15 through January18, 2021

One film in this festival is Brother Outsider: The Life of Bayard Rustin, a Quaker who worked closely with MLK.

The film festival is named after the title of King's last book, Where Do We Go from Here? It will feature twenty documentaries as well as musical performances and conversations that speak to Dr. King's unanswered question: "Where do we go from here?” These cover a range of topics, from the history of the civil rights and anti-apartheid movements to James Baldwin and Martin Luther King's global visions. Although the films are organized thematically into days, registrants will be able to view these films throughout the King Holiday weekend on their own schedules via links we will provide in the upcoming weeks to registrants’ emails via Eventbrite.
