Migrant Lawyer Travel Fund

The Lawyers for Good Government Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is mobilizing lawyers to travel to the front lines of the immigration crisis, but many of these volunteer lawyers need help with travel costs.

On average, it costs around $500 to cover airfare or a one-week stay at an economical hotel for one attorney. Donations of any amount are very much appreciated.

From July 2018 to June 2019, through this travel fund program, the program was able to send 37 lawyers and law students to detention centers, refugee camps, and other areas where their help was desperately needed. The program needs more support so it can continue and expand.
