Here is a second opportunity this week to meet with friends in the West online and hear from Mary Ann Percy.

Living in Right Relationship with the Living World:
Quaker Testimonies as a Template?
With Mary Ann Percy, QEW Steering Committee

Sunday, August 24, 2022
Two hours starting at
Noon Pacific = 1:00 PM Mountain
Click here to join the meeting.

How might our lives change if we were to apply our Quaker Testimonies to the entire Living World rather than only to our relations with human beings?!  Using Quaker contemplative practices and exercises from The Work That Reconnects (Joanna Macy, root teacher), we will have the opportunity to begin to deepen intimacy with all beings, and to understand how our Testimonies of Unity, Equality, Integrity, Community, Simplicity, and Peace direct us toward harmonious and reciprocal relationships which respect the inherent integrity of the Earth community. And we will begin to experience how we are led to witness this reciprocity both to and in the world. The content will be largely experiential, and also include a brief presentation, opportunities for reflection and worship-sharing.

Mary Ann Percy carries a life-long spiritual concern for Earth and all our relations, and currently serves as an NPYM representative to Quaker Earthcare Witness (QEW). She is a trained Joanna Macy facilitator in The Work that Reconnects (WTR), offers Earthcare programs for Friends’ Meetings and groups, and is a member of Bellingham Friends Meeting (NPYM).
