Learning Right Relations is hosting this hybrid event with featured speaker Earth-Feather Sovereign, a Colville tribal member and activist. She will speak about her activism as a Native leader in the south Salish Sea and beyond.  Her ongoing work with legislators and other leaders has spanned over a decade, raising awareness and bringing people together to seek justice for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW).

Sovereign was a founder of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women Washington and worked with others to pass legislation in 2018 that began creating a comprehensive database to track missing Native people. Her efforts also included subsequent legislation to create a Missing Indigenous People's Taskforce.
