On Friday, Dec. 6, 2019, Members of El Paso Meeting met with Debbie Nathan, a renowned freelance reporter and author, who has been gathering info on deportation flights. These flights have been taking place for years, but have increased lately as the result of the current administration's harsh immigration policies.
Some of us see parallels between what happened during the Holocaust and what's happening here in El Paso, and one of my middle-of-the-night thoughts was that the German citizenry could at least use the "we didn't know" excuse for allowing Holocaust. El Pasoans don't have that excuse. We know.
