November 6-8, 2020

Hope for Healing the World: Our Experiences during the Pandemic.

Our keynote speaker, John Calvi, will share his experiences during these challenging times, both personally and from being with others. Check out his books:

• The Dance Between Hope and Fear – about healing from trauma, a common experience during our current times
• How Far Have You Traveled – about knowing ones goodness even as we witness so much pain and confusion in the world.

Activities will include:

• Breakout groups on social action, expressive writing, wellness through music and movement, and more time with John Calvi.
• A “drop-in” social time will be available.
• Families will enjoy early evening activities, such as “getting to know you” games with Andrew Banks.
• The traditional Creativity Night with Kevin Slick – music, dancing, jokes, poems, stories, art would all be welcome. Start planning for your participation!
• A Quaker movie, “Sweet Home Monteverde.”
• A '’sing-along' with Eric Wright.
• Worship sharing, a brief Meeting for Business, and Meeting for Worship.

This Fall Gathering will be at no cost to all attendees. Registration has closed for worship-sharing groups, but other activities are open to all.
