Marge and I have recently published a new book, Quakerism: The Basics, which is a comprehensive introduction to the Society of Friends.
While we were preparing this book, we received helpful feedback from Friends around the world. Join us in an online discussion of why we felt called to write this book, what we hoped to accomplish, and the special challenges we faced in trying to tell the Quaker story in a way that recognizes that the majority of Friends are in the Global South.
