Friends Peace Teams Welcome AVP Palestine

Friends Peace Teams welcomes a new section to our growing team. Joe DiGarbo has been working with Alternatives to Violence Project (AVP) primarily in Palestine since 2007, with some outreach to organizations in Israel. He has recently brought his ministry to Friends Peace Teams. He maintains contact with Murad, a leader in AVP in Palestine, who sends us greetings.

“Friends Peace Teams Europe” was delighted to change our name recently to “Friends Peace Teams Europe and Middle East” (FPT-EME). We welcome the participation of AVP-Palestine and AVP-Sulaimaniya (northern Iraq).

We will share about our work in Ukraine, North Caucasus, Palestine, Israel, and Kurdistan in the current issue of PeaceWays, the newsletter of Friends Peace Teams.
