Friends,
An excellent new film on nonviolence, called The Third Harmony, produced by my good friend Michael Nagler and the Metta Center for Nonviolence, is available online free of charge through this weekend. Just to whet your appetite: The film includes a brief interview with me about our sit-in at a segregated drug store in Arlington, VA, where I was confronted by a fellow with a switchblade knife, and I responded with nonviolence, as was the discipline for thousands of students in the sit-ins in 1960.
