Election Eve Quaker Worship

Published: Oct. 28, 2022

Dear Friends,

The “Quaker Call To Action” with a concern for U.S. democracy has been a wonderful journey of love, concern, and action over these last several months. Experiencing the power of coming together in community under spiritual concern has been one of the gifts of this journey. We are reminded that even a small group of people joined together in spiritual concern and under leading has power.

With this in mind, and as we approach one of the most consequential elections of our lifetimes on November 8, 2022, the Quaker Call To Action Steering Committee invites you to join us in organizing a time of worship and prayerful reflection in your local Meeting, church, or place of worship on Election Eve, November 7, 2022.  Let’s join together in calling on the Spirit to guide and sustain us and our whole nation as we vote and determine our common future.

It will be good to have a sense of what Meetings and churches are gathering. Thank you for considering this call to worship.
