Many Friends are concerned about the 50% of our tax dollars going to fund "Forever Wars" and preparation for nuclear war with China and Russia. To continue the endless wars our government needs young people to fight these wars and the tax dollars to fund these wars from the rest of us. Can we continue to pray for peace and pay for war?
This will be an opportunity to hear Friends concerns and hear suggestions about ways we can resist paying at least a portion of our war taxes (which are due by May 17th this year) and contribute those funds for human and environmental needs.
