Dear Friends,
For a bright spot in your week – Marguerite Kearns has agreed to share the spotlight that the New York Times is shining on her decade of work relating to early activists.
She is a longtime member of Santa Fe Monthly Meeting and currently worships via Zoom with Plymouth Meeting Friends in Pennsylvania.
Marguerite is one of the New York Times’ featured activists in a feature published last week.
A year or so ago we met at Santa Fe Monthly Meeting and became friends due to our mutual love of Plymouth Meeting Friends Meeting (PMFM):
Marguerite has been working for years on a project to place headstone on her grandparents’ grave, and the dedication will be in October. I’m impressed with her persistence and follow through, and I’ve agreed to support her in this work.
