This evening, we were witness to a large community that has grown at Fulton and Larkin streets. There are at least sixty persons currently living at this location.
The risk of coronavirus transmission is significantly elevated in large-scale communities like this. There isn’t even running water, let alone thermometers or face masks.
My heart sank when I noticed that many persons living here are young adults.
We provided food, but this seems only a droplet in an ocean of need.
How does Christ manifest in such suffering?
