Weaving Space for Becoming
June 12 – 16, 2024
Fort Lewis College, Durango, Colorado
Hybrid, online, and in-person sessions
We invite you to our Fiftieth Anniversary Intermountain Yearly Meeting Annual Gathering 2024. Our theme is “Weaving Space for Becoming.”
IMYM will be experimenting with ways to build community as we reinvent our yearly meeting and weave our past, present, and future into a space where everyone is fulfilled spiritually. Planning for our annual gathering is still in process. We know that there will be worship, worship sharing, meetings for business as well as intergenerational singing, dancing, and creativity night, and programs for our youth. We may also have traditional interest groups, “Places’’ for the fiber arts, visual arts, physical movement, and Friendly Circles. All this while keeping in mind that we want a sense of centeredness and calm. We look forward to welcoming a Herberto Sein Visitor from Mexico City Monthly Meeting. Fort Lewis College is a beautiful and truly accessible venue. The Durango area has 300 miles of local trails situated along a winding river between wild mountains and desert canyons. Registration will open in March. Our website is at: www.imym.org

Toward That Which Rejoins All Things
July 10 – 14, 2024
University of Montana, in Missoula, Montana
Hybrid, online, and in-person sessions
We welcome all Friends to our Annual Session 2024. This return to Mountain Time has been long in coming and deeply desired by Friends in every corner of North Pacific Yearly Meeting. We are grateful to those Friends near at hand in Montana who will welcome us to the beautiful banks of the Clark Fork. We gather there to re-weave the connections strained by time and distance.
We are mindful, however, that the Indigenous peoples of the land could extend a deeper and older welcome to the beloved “place of the big bull trout.” We gather in their lands to learn our way and work our way toward the healing of wounds, old and yet still open, cut by death and injustice.
And we are mindful that the deepest welcome is made to us by the Light. All living things are guests in the place the Spirit makes. We gather on holy ground to seek out that which rejoins all things, renews all things, and makes all things whole.

Transformation
July 19 – 24, 2024
Whittier College, in Whittier, California
In-person gathering with online opportunities
Unprogrammed Quakers, beginning with George Fox, have claimed an identity as “an experimental” tradition. We try out ideas, leadings, insights in community.
The theme for our annual session in July, 2024, will be Transformation. That doesn’t mean we know where we are headed, but we are invited to seek, to ask questions, to map where we have been, and to see if we can chart a path forward together.
We will be blessed by a key note speaker, “.O,” who will be zooming in from Philadelphia to be with us. To address both environmental and social justice issues, .O has made health and well-being their life’s purpose. S/He is a seasoned facilitator and leads workshops for individuals and groups to heal legacies of racism, sexism, homophobia, and class privilege in order to build healthier and stronger relationships and organizations.
As we head into this transformative journey, we will have different visions and different priorities. The question is, Where is Spirit leading us? Come join us on this new chapter of our adventure as a faith community. We come together celebrating our diversity across many differences and open to learning from each other.
