Quaker Peace Witness in 1961

Authored by: Carl Thatcher, Nina Joy Dodd Lawrence, Alice Newton, Bill Bruff

These documents describe a Quaker Peace Witness excursion that was undertaken by a group of six young Friends from the West in 1960. The first is a set of articles published in 1961 by Friends Bulletin (Western Friend's predecessor publication), written by the four members of the delegation who traveled from Washington State. The second document is an account that Carl Thatcher wrote in 2022. Also published by Western Friend in 2022 is an article by Nina Joy Lawrence, "Uplifted in Witness Together."
