Before we decided that we couldn't conduct our Good Friday vigil in person at Livermore Nuclear Weapons Labs, as we have done for many years running, we chose this quotation as our theme:
Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. (Revelations 22:1-2)
We met by videoconference on April 10, 2020, “For the Healing of the Nations and the peaceful conversion of Livermore Nuclear Weapons Laboratory.”
Many joined online in real time, but many others were unable to. For those who tried, but were unable to, our regrets; we are still learning how to do these things.
