The five-day retreat over the new year is a long-held tradition here, both a celebratory and contemplative way to let the old year go and give welcome to the new. Start the year ahead with the sunrise worship in the Casa de Luz! This year, we welcome J. Brent Bill back to Quaker Center. We'll explore the themes of Brent's new book– how the first Testimonies sprang from the daily life and faith of early Friends, and how we might be a people of hope and witness today. How do the lessons we learn inform our individual and corporate witness in the world?
