World Quaker Day: Let Peace Be Among Us

The theme for World Quaker Day on 4 October 2026 is Let Peace Be Among Us, with the supporting Bible passage Hebrews 12:14, “Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy.”
FWCC is planning a massive online Meeting for Worship on the day (4 October), bringing together Friends across borders and Quaker traditions with a shared focus on peace.
The worship is planned to start at 14:00 UTC and last for 8+ hours to span multiple time zones. Each hour of worship will be dedicated to a part of the world where prayers for peace are particularly needed. You’re welcome to join for as little or as long as you’d like, either individually or with your local meeting or worship group.

- 07:00-15:00 – Pacific Daylight Time (e.g. Seattle), Mountain Standard Time (e.g. Phoenix)
- 08:00-16:00 – Mountain Daylight Time (e.g. Albuquerque), Central America (e.g. Guatemala, Mexico City)
- 09:00-17:00 – Central Daylight Time (e.g. Chicago, Dallas, New Orleans)
