Vaccines and Community, March 20

~ Join Fred Koster and the Board of Western Friend to consider: Vaccines and Community Saturday, March 20, 2021 90 minutes beginning 3:00 PM Pacific = 4:00 PM Mountain Fred Koster is a medical doctor and virologist whose fifty-year career included vaccine development. He studied aerosol transmission as well as vaccine development for pandemic and seasonal influenza viruses. He serves as Treasurer on Western Friend’s Board of Directors and is a member of Albuquerque Friends Meeting (IMYM).  He has enjoyed the community of five Monthly Meetings where he has lived.  Each Meeting had a unique personality of community yet shared the same joys and purpose. Fred will explore these questions and more: How does COVID challenge our testimonies of community and equality? While we want to protect our fellowship, how long will it impinge on our worship, on gatherings? With regard to vaccines, who is our priority? Ourselves? The most vulnerable?
