Quakerism 101 Adult Education - Register Now for Fall 2025 Sessions
Sponsor(s):
IMYM is pleased to offer a Fall 2025 Session of the Quakerism 101 adult education program. Q101 is available to all monthly meetings and worship groups associated with IMYM.
The goal is to provide an introductory curriculum that is foundational and accessible for new attenders and members. We will also expand to assist local Meetings in adapting the Q101 resources to their specific region or Meeting needs.
We will cover general Quaker practice, spiritual development, and history. The format will be low on lecture time and will emphasize discussion supplemented with good readings.
ZOOM in on Tuesday nights for 6 weeks (with breaks) from 7:00 - 8:00 PM MDT. The dates are: September 16th and 23rd, (break), October 7th and 14th, (break), October 28th and November 4th.
Register to receive the link, course content, and event reminders.
Registration spots are limited and first priority will be given to those on the wait list from this past spring. If you were on the wait list, please register ASAP.
We hope that each Monthly Meeting will support this effort by providing some additional local times (e.g. once a month) to discuss more deeply how the content applies to local practice.
This is an experiment and we hope to improve over time.
We are eager for others to join us to help with instruction.
