Quaker Voluntary Service (QVS) offers an 11-month Fellowship program to young adults (21 to 30 years) similar to Seattle's QuEST (Quaker Experiential Service Training) program of the past. The QVS Fellowship experience includes spiritual exploration, living with other young adults and building community, and working at a community based non-profit organization. QVS has houses in Boston, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, and Portland, OR.Join Greg Stefanski (Executive Director) and Sophie Wood Brinker (Development and Outreach Manager) as they share about QVS, relay stories of past Fellows' experiences and offer some practical information for those interested in getting involved.
They will offer a multitude of ways for people to support QVS (through time, treasure, or talents). There will be materials to pick up and stories to tell.
