Quaker Call To Action: Resisting the Divide and Conquer Game

(US/Pacific)

Dear Friend,

The QUAKER CALL TO ACTION is pleased to have Eileen Flanagan as our next National Zoom Call presenter on SUNDAY, AUGUST 3, 2025, 7:00 – 8:30 PM EDT. Eileen will speak on “Resisting the Divide and Conquer Game: How Quakers Can Help the Broader Pro-Democracy Movement.” Register for the zoom session HERE under "National Zoom Calls". You will receive a zoom link the day before the session.

Eileen Flanagan is a spiritually grounded award-winning author, speaker, and activist. The former campaign director of Earth Quaker Action Team, she has trained people across the United States in nonviolent strategies for change. In the lead up to the 2020 election, she was trainings coordinator for Choose Democracy. More recently, she worked with Daniel Hunter to create online trainings and a peacekeeper workbook that is being used by tens of thousands of today’s activists. She is a wonderful follow-up to our last national zoom session with Daniel Hunter as we continue to look for practical ways to support one another and defend truth and our democracy.

You might also note Eileen’s newest book, Common Ground: How the Crisis of the Earth is Saving Us From Our Illusion of Separation. It is due out on August 19 and you can pre-order a copy HERE. She writes that this upcoming volume “offers lessons, not only for those concerned about climate change, but for all those who want to work across our divisions for a better world.” Read more about Eileen HERE.

Please join us on AUGUST 3rd for the opportunity to share ninety minutes with Eileen.

In the Spirit,

THE QUAKER CALL NATIONAL STEERING COMMITTEE
