We are pleased to announce our next national zoom meeting featuring a conversation with Daniel Hunter.
Daniel is a co-founder and lead strategist/trainer with Choose Democracy, a U.S. based organization focused on preventing and stopping undemocratic power grabs. He plays a central role in shaping the group’s training, tools, and public education efforts in coordination with Indivisible, MoveOn, Democracy Forward, and others.

The times are dark. We are daunted by the growing authoritarian control by the Trump administration, and the daily assault on our communities by ICE and other co-opted law enforcement agencies. We are horrified to witness the exploding conflict in Iran and the needless suffering of people there, here and around the world.
At the same time, we are uplifted and encouraged by the example of ordinary people, especially the brave folks in Minnesota, rising up to confront the power of the administration with the power of non-violence.
Daniel Hunter lives at the heart of nationwide and international resistance. He will join us to share his stories of courage, analysis of the deepening crisis as well as ideas and inspiration for confronting the anti-democratic forces arrayed against us.
