Nancy Marshall urges Friends to reinvigorate our thinking about the pamphlet, “Speak Truth to Power: a Quaker Search for an Alternative to Violence,” produced by AFSC in 1955. While the pamphlet speaks as if governments are "the power," we all have "the power" to work for peace and justice. Nancy has written several books, all speaking to Friends' work in the world.
