Permagardens Presentation

On Wednesday April 8th, 5-7 PM, David Albert and a team of practitioners from the Global South will be making a presentation on the work of The Permagardens Foundation, of which David is the Board Chair. The zoom presentation is sponsored by the alumni group of Movement for a New Society, a network of activists and nonviolence trainers, many of whom are Quakers, and still very active. (and many Friends are involved in the Foundation.)
Permargardens are a unique combination of permaculture and bio-intensive gardening, making it possible for families to feed themselves year-round, including during dry seasons and drought, on a four meter by four meter square of land, located close to homes. The program addresses family and community self-reliance, food sovereignty, and climate adaptation/mitigation. www.permagardens.earth
