12:30 pm: Mary Klein (former editor of Western Friend) explains the important place that Joel and Hannah Bean and San Jose have in the history of Quakers in the West. Hybrid format, use worship registration to attend online at 12:30.

At noon there will also be a time capsule burial ceremony celebrates the 140th anniversary of the San Jose historic Quaker meeting house (built in 1885, oldest west of Iowa).
