LGBTQC Mid-Winter Gathering 2024
Twice yearly, Friends for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Concerns gather to worship, conduct business, pray, and play. In July, our numbers are large. In February, our numbers are often smaller, and we gather together to attend to old relationships and deepen new ones.

Online – with in-person gatherings in Madison and Atlanta
This year’s Mid-Winter Gathering will be held virtually over Zoom, from Friday, February 16th, to Monday, February 19th. In-person gatherings are currently planned for Madison and Atlanta, and will blend with the Zoom community at certain times.
All Friends are welcome to join any of these gatherings. You do not need to identify as Queer, or Quaker, to attend.
This focus arose out of discussions around our new structure, and the challenges and opportunities faced working within this structure. We hope that, by delving into our past and present, we may deepen our appreciation of our roots and broaden the kind of future we will build together.
Your presence would make a difference – whether an old-timer or a newcomer – so please come if you are able. We have time for interest groups and other ways to participate: see the opportunities in the registration form. Please feel free to share this invitation with other Friends and Meetings.
There is no cost to attend online, and flexible fees for the in-person gatherings – as always, contributions to FLGBTQC are welcome. If you would like to go to Madison or Atlanta and travel is a hardship, we have funds to assist. Please contact [email protected] as soon as possible with your request.
