A Report from the West Bank

On Thursday, December 12, Robert Levering will present a webinar about his recent visit to the West Bank and East Jerusalem. During his two full weeks there, he met with Palestinians throughout the occupied territory who have experienced worsening conditions since the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023.
Robert will share the Palestinians’ stories along with photos of the people he met and the places he visited. Some have had their homes demolished by the Israeli military, others were detained and tortured by Israeli authorities, others have been subjects of raids by Israeli settlers, and still others are regularly harassed at military checkpoints, etc.
Robert will reflect on the question of what role hope plays for Palestinians in the face of these difficulties.
Robert’s trip was part of the program sponsored by Sabeel, a Palestinian Christian organization.
