ESR Scholarship for Californians

Earlham School of Religion (ESR) is pleased to announce new financial support for members of the Religious Society of Friends who are California residents beginning in Fall 2020. This support is thanks to the generosity of Audrey Lasson, who passed away last summer and included ESR as part of a planned gift.

Our new financial support includes the following:

  • First-semester lodging at ESR’s Lauramoore Guest House for residential students
  • Full tuition for ESR’s 2-week intensive courses on campus
  • Lodging during 2-week intensives
  • Application, confirmation, registration, technology, and common meal fees waived

This support is in addition to our full array of scholarship opportunities and need-based aid, an overview of which is available here: The goal of these programs is to make seminary education rooted in the Christian Quaker tradition of contemplation that inspires action accessible to as many students as possible.

To explore whether you might be a good fit for any of ESR's degree and certificate programs, contact Julie Dishman, Director of Recruitment and Admissions, at 800-432-1377 or dishmju-AT-earlham-DOT-edu. To see what programs ESR offers, please visit
