Mark Edwin Pumphrey, age 68, entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 4, 2022 in El Paso, Texas.
Mark was a native of Carlisle, Kentucky. He made El Paso his home since 2010.
He was the deputy director and later on director of the El Paso Public Library for several years until his retirement in 2019. He loved musical theater, writing and singing.
He was a wonderful husband, stepfather, brother and step-grandfather. He will be greatly missed.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Foster Pumphrey and Faye Osborne. He is survived by his husband, Jean-Claude Linossi; his stepdaughter Marie Dexter; and his step-granddaughters, Sophia and Miranda Dexter.
He was a member of El Paso Monthly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends, where he was valued for many qualities, including his wisdom, kindness and enthusiasm.
