Jeannine Scott was a dedicated, long-term Member of the Napa Friends Meeting. Jeannine showed warm interest in the children of the Meeting; she delighted in our social gatherings; she participated faithfully in Meeting for Business, and she served as Recording Clerk for many years. She also attended Yearly and Quarterly Meeting and served on Representative Committee. Jeannine compiled our Christmas songbooks, still in use, and she wrote a sophisticated newsletter for our Members and Attenders. Because of chronic health issues, declining energy, and shifts in her personal priorities, Jeannine moved away from attending Meeting in her later years. However, she left a mark on the Napa Friends Meeting and all who knew her. Please hold her soul and her memory in the Light.
